The SNAP House, designed in Austin, Texas, is a collaborative design-build project, entered in the national Solar Decathlon competition in Washington, D.C. It utilizes innovative structure, aesthetics, economy, passive design and cutting edge technology to support a completely sustainable lifestyle powered 100% by energy harvested from the sun.

 



Structurally Insulated Panels reduce the amount of waste because they are built in factories, but SIPs are still easy to modify in field.
